people who demand cotto face ggg are fraud fans of the sport and cowards

Simple, vacate the title so Triple G can fight for it against someone willing to fight him. Cotto's name won't be mentioned again as a possible opponant.

 

If you calling earning it by fighting an old broken down MW, than he should keep it by fighting the person next in line for a shot at it.

Cotto HAS to fight Triple G or he WILL be stripped, if he doesn't want to fight Triple G than he can vacate.

 

You've got this all wrong. It's not the GGG fans who are crying for Cotto to fight GGG, it's the Sergio fanboys. That's why there's so much hate for Cotto now. Before his only haters were a handful of Rican haters and stray Floyd fans. But since he whooped Sergio he's got every bitter Sergio fanboy dying to see him get destroyed by someone. Anyone. They don't care who.

 

Triple G HAS the right as the mandatory challenger to fight for lineal title. It doesn't have to be against Cotto, but since he has it, it's only right for Triple G to demand a shot against Cotto.

You're telling me you'd rather see Cotto fight Budrage for the lineal MW title? Cotto can if he wants to but then vacate the belt. Like you said he's old and is not a MW, so why continue to face pressure from the fans and the media to fight Triple G?

 

You know it made sense for Cotto to take the Martinez fight because the guy was ripe for the picking but he also knew that GGG would be hounding for his ass after that. I'm sure he knew that going in. I think he wanted to entice Canelo at that weight with the belt but Canelo is not stupid because if he wins, it will be like trading places with Cotto and he don't want the hot seat either. I think he's gonna give up the belt and fight Canelo in New York later this year. The belt would've added more weight to the fight but they will have to settle for the Mexican VS Rican rivalry.

I find it funny three G "fans" don't want to see him challenged, they actually clamor for these fights where he has a big size advantage using respect for belts etc. as excuses. They support him moving down and fighting smaller guys with more money as an excuse, yet, support him not moving up because there is "no money" there.

Three G clearly shows that high reward low risk is his motivation and yet they still act like he's about looking for the best challenges, which is fine on his part, (even though he's not as deserving as Cotto to do that) but his fans need to wake up. Cotto has put in 10x the work he has, there's a reason three G is more far more respectful in his request to fight Cotto than his fans are. Three G knows he is he is looking for the same high reward lower risk opportunities Cotto is, yet, he knows he doesn't nearly deserve to as Cotto does.
