Give me a break. He has been fighting top fighters since 1999 and has ducked no one.

 

Arreola would give one hell of a 2 and a half minutes before getting chalked. He has to swallow his pride and learn a little "D".

Shannon Briggs, some say Wlad didnt want anything to do with him after he beat Liakhovich for the title in late 06, after Wlad said "Win a title first, then will talk". Briggs hates both Wlad and Peter, on myspace he was very vivid in describing what he thought of them.

 

Well, most here predicted that Wlad would jab, jab and jab the first few rounds, but he threw his first right hand within the first 30 seconds of the fight... not exactly predictable.

 

I wouldn't say he's talentless...just much more cautious now.

Wlad would of destroyed Briggs. Meaningless fight against a nobody.

 

It was more of a joke than anything, though Briggs was dead serious about it. You might have seen him on FNF as a guest last year complaining about Wlad being scared to fight him, I even remember seeing him try and pull a David Haye and get into one of his press conferences for a fight.

I wouldnt exactly count Briggs out against Wlad, especially early. The man is extremely powerful and has one of the most impressive reputations as 1 round KO artist, in 40 something wins, 60% of those came by 1st round knockout. He could pull a Corrie Sanders, and make Wlad panic early, he definitely has the power to do it.
