Pac was Ko'd but Cotto and Margo were destroyed! They received Meldrick Taylor type beatdowns in their losses. Pac KO losses were due to him being too weak to continue as opposed to a sustained beating that Cotto and Margo took. And like someone said earlier, neither has looked at their best since.

Marquez hasn't taken no where near the same punishment Margo has over their careers. Margo made his name being able to take punches until he could take no more against Mosley. The beating he took against Mosley was extremely brutal.

Well one thing for sure is, if Pac fought Hatton, DLH, Morales, Margo and now Mosley prime. He wouldn't have a win over all of them. Just my opinion!

The TS brought Margo into this thread. He responded to a post that explained why Margo, Hatton, and Cotto were viewed as damaged goods by saying why isn't Marquez considered damaged goods also? Well he hasn't taken a brutal beatdown like the other have, yet.

And I was responding to someone else who seems to think that just because JMM was not KO'd, he has not taken damage. But thanks anyway.

No problem, I didn't get that from his post, but I guess he's the only one that knows for sure.

That is the thing with Pac haters, prior to Hatton and Cotto facing Pac, many predicts that both of them is too strong for Pac, but after Pac annihilated them, they alt a nick and bash Pac. You will see new registered members after the Pac fought Hatton and Cotto bashing Pac.

Many thought Morales was shot and damage good and Maidana would annihilated Morales, that EM would not last 3 rounds, but again they have been proven wrong, many though Morales won his fight against Maidana.

The only fighter that has a good chance of beating a prime Pacquiao in their absolute prime in that list is a prime Mosley, the rest Pac would beat them.

But Hatton was not damaged goods he was impressive against Malignagi, Cotto was slightly faded, but not a damaged goods, the outcome wouldnt have been much different had Pac faced the same Cotto 2 years before.

Pacquiao was too versatile for Hatton, Pac has a huge style advantage over Oscar, Pac always dominate left dependent fighters like Oscar, if Mosley's in and out confused Oscar(who mentioned in his book that there are times he got confused in fights) what more against Pacquiao who have faster feet and throw punches from different kind of angles. Oscar also fades late in the fight, and that is trouble against someone like Pac, who has huge stamina. Margo is too limited to beat Pacquiao. Morales was beaten by Pac twice, if you want to say Morales was past his best when Pac beat him, then you should also mention that Morales beat Pac when he is not in his prime, not wearing his favorite gloves, and has a huge cut.

I dont think Hatton was damaged goods at all.. In his fight b4 against Malinaggi he looked like a prime Ricky Hatton to me, he dominated a good tough fighter even stopping him. Cotto was slightly faded, but far from damaged goods, the outcome wouldnt have been much different had he faced the same Cotto 2 years before. Margarito is probably the most faded, he hadnt fought all that much in the last couple years... But Pacs speed would have always troubled Margo.

:patsch That is so overblown.. U mean that little pad he had in his wraps:lol:.. Margarito was a big puncher back when he was a teenage prospect putting the smash on tough journeyman,a still gree Martinez(11 years ago),and later top contenders, champ. Even his sparring partners say hes a heavy puncher, do you think he was wearing cement in sparring too?.. The supposed "Cement handwraps" is probably the misconception in all of boxing.. Margo is still hitting as hard as ever has, hes just slowed down and is a little older.

you just finished saying cotto was not faded.
think bout it, brick hands had just brutally ktfo cotto, then was caught next fight.....how ironic he suddenly looked average and got ktfo out himself.
by a guy cotto just beat
fact: plaster of paris in had warps will make your punches for effective.
if u can't understand that u r in the wrong sport my friend
    good luck

It's simple. Pac is arguably the best active boxer. We expect better than him fighting people without victories for two years.
