    Boring is Boring.

The fact that it was against an handpicked overmatched opponent just makes it that much worse.

The fact remains you know exactly what your going to get with Floyd.

Floyd always starts out feeling out process then he jabs throws a few rights falling away last 3 rounds on his bike as the decision is in.

    UD Always

It is what it is with Floyd.

Will I pay $50 of my hard earned money when I already safely know whats going to happen.

    **** NO.

He has fought like this since he left 140.

Well I seened a bum that never had a jab or any power, or any chance of winning; comfortably see the final bell while his opponent literally ran away from him in the 12th. And his opponent is meant to be some sort of good fighter, yet he never landed anything other than an off balance right hand, over and over again. He never transitioned between offence and defence, he would throw a punch and run, throw a punch and run. When he was on the ropes he didn't even attempt to punch, just run back to the centre of the ring.

Apparently you arent a fight fan considering you didnt like Floyds performance. A 36 year old ATG moving around the ring, boxing, parrying and timing like he was 26.

You sound like a hater. Which is what you are. Didnt your dumbass say Cotto would beat Floyd? :rofl

Umm no. Against, Cotto, Mosley, and Ortiz he did not fight like he fought last night.

As to why everyone was amazed his legs are still there when most were saying his movement had declined.

I am certainly not a fan of Floyd. I would probably like to see him beaten. I believe, like most in the boxing establishment, that he feared Pac and the risk the Filipino posed to his zero.

That said, Floyd is NEVER boring if you're a boxing fan. He is currently the most skilled exponent of the sport still active and one of the most talented boxers ever. Watching him box is always a special treat for any true fan of the sport.

The object of the game is to BEAT the opponent, to hit and not get hit. In short, it's about winning.

It's one thing to dislike the man. It's quite another to deny his very obvious talent.

And watching talent of that calibre is never boring to a fan of the game.

Didnt you said Clottey beat Cotto?

And that Cotto was finished after it?

Then some years later Cotto signs to fight Floyd.

And you change your tune to "this is the best version of Cotto ever".

A fighter can be shot to pieces or way past it.

As soon as signs to fight Floyd hes back to his prime hes the second coming of SRR etc...

You arent a fight fan you're just a male groupie of one fighter.

you can complain about mayweather being boring but the final question is, what did you expect before the fight?

And its not even that mayweather fought a boring match, he was throwing more hooks and power shots than usual actually, it was just guerrero was too inferior, something people SHOULD have known going into. After all, isn't guerrero signiture win at 147, against the same opponent ortiz beat?

you're not going to enjoy a mayweather fight if you keep hoping and praying he is going to lose, especially to b level fighters.

Yawn and you sound just as ignorant as everyone else who defended this boring mismatch ! I'm not surprised that you loved this as anyone who uses the term hater is content with mediocrity! And no I picked Floyd over Cotto,Ortiz and Guerrero ! I can't be that good at picking winners thats why I don't support mismatches ! And who didn't think Floyd couldn't out box the Ghost ? That man was not in his class so unlike you it came as no surprise that he beat him with such ease !

Yeah your the real genius on these boards

Clottey did beat Cotto. Never said Cotto was shot I said he had the same fundamental flaws he's always had. I said the same thing when he lost to Pacquiao and Margarita. That he lost because of his flaws and there should be no excuses.

It was bums like you that hype these average fighters to beat Floyd. Finally however you're coming to your senses after 5 years and realize he's unbeatable.
