The cruiserweights today could probably defeat the cream of the crop of heavyweight.

People on here think Louis could beat Wladimir Klitschko, but I'm called delusional for thinking that the bigger, stronger, harder hitting Wlad would win?

Most people on here are nostalgic and idealists. They cant differentiate fact from opinion, and consider those who use common sense idiots. That's 80 percent of ESB right there. Their lives are horrible so they cling on to the myths of the past or idols to make themselves feel good. :stirrpot

If Galento and Walcott could drop Louis, what do you think would happen if Wlad hit him?

I don't care what area you look in there has never been a faster HW than Ali in his prime. To beat him first you've got to hit him lol. Ali would play with most of todays lumbering giants

Prime ripped 66's Ali right here: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:22879

    Prime semi-fat 67's Ali right here:http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:22883

You must understand that Ali would have made cruiser without problem today. Thus He would be a cruiser today.

in 66 ali was 24 years old, when holyfield was 24 he was just moving up to cruiser from light heavy, yet holyfield had no problem dealing with the big boys. do you believe holyfield was so much better than ali that he is the only one who could go on to beat a super heavy?

ALi doesnt give a shyt about cruddi title that has only flourished to grab money off a new east euro market for substandard HW fights.

He would take the whole pie, not the crust.

Ali mostly fought at approx. 210 pounds but was 216 pounds when he fought Foreman. So he was definitely above the cruiserweight limit of 200 pounds.

Yeah and Sugar ray Robinson would play with the lumbering giant Ali...

    Not in todays division.

    250/200=1.25

    200/1.25=160

Golovkin would beat Ali with your logic.

Yeah, Ali's not exactly looking fat or out of shape against Terrell. And even if you somehow think he is...Ali produced a better performance against Terrell than he did against Cooper, so the added weight didn't hurt him very much.

If he could cut it down to 201 as a Heavyweight, 200 Pounds would have been no problem for him.

Ali would have been a cruiser today. Or a fast tweener like David Haye (without punching Power)
