People who think Ali would be able to compete with the tall-superheavyweights

If you believe what you say is fact,good for you! BUT keep in mind even those in a mental ward KNOW the difference between fact and opinion. I didnt ask for your input, I am simply stating how ridiculous it is for people to think heavyweights of the past can compete against the SH's today, yet laugh at the idea of modern day cruisers doing well against Wlad and Vitali.

How the **** would you know Ali would be an exception to the rule? Is it because maybe you have a fascination for nostalgic BS? Or because you admire these idols to compensate for some vacant spot in your life? I dont know, only you know, but unless you can provide concrete evidence for me then shut the **** up.

Why you should make a SRR vs ... thread because It'll show you It's not criticism toward Ali that gets a raise out of people, It's the disrespect that past greats get. I'm back to this thread because I felt the the need to make, about how ridicuolus the AJ/Ali being like a HW vs MW, and whoever makes that claim knows very little about boxing.

I don't care why you're interested in Ali vs... Do I think he's overrated? No. I see fighters like RJJ or Calzaghe being held in higher esteem, and both of them are far less accomplished, but that's irrelevant here. I replied to you were making false claims. "pro-Ali crowd never makes logical arguments, they always get emotional". I remember breaking it down several Times, some of which in the afromentioned thread. I also remember several others giving break downs.

I never claimed you "really, really hated" Ali's accomplishments. I made that claim only about the Foreman fight because I remember you going on about heat effecting Foreman more. Now you're back with a different excuse(which suggests that excuse started to look too ridicuolus even to you). When you make such lame excuses about a certain fight and you repeat them over and over again, something is really bothering you about that particular fight. That's where I'm coming from, I don't care what else you post about.

Unlike your passive-agressive accusation, I have 0 emotional attachment to any Fighter. I'm a HW fan, period. If The same disrespectful, ignorant comments were being made about Joe Louis, Marciano, Foreman or Holmes, I'd be calling them out on that too. Ali gets talked about a lot more because modernists pick on him more than any others. If you make an outrages claim, you get an outraged response.

The hypocrisy is amazing.

The truth is Ali is grossly overrated due to his mouth and his actions outside of the ring.

He got beaten by lesser fighters than todays HW's, while even resorting to fixing fights.

Vitali would have drowned him, even Joshua would have scalped him. Tyson Fury would have played with him and made him dance.

 

Check Out CST's thread about him, Usyk is one of my favourite Active fighters. I take speed and skills over size and power, nothing more to it.

 

The funny thing is that if you ask if Stiverne can beat Joshua, Wlad or Vitali you would get an overwhelming "he'll no"!!! But he has a chance against Ali (my TBE)...a top 3 beat hvw ever on most hvw lists.
