No I'm afraid it is me who has pity for you.

Ali was not as hard to hit as all you people pretend he was. He was hit often even when he was younger against Cooper, Chuvalo, Mildenberger etc. The difference is they were small heavyweights, or in Coopers and Mildenbergers case cruiserweights with no real power.

Now if 250 pound real power punching Joshua with his 4 inch reach advantage fights Ali make no mistake he will be landing on Ali. Ali never faced someone with the size, weight and power combination of Joshua. Ali will be hit, worn down and stopped early by Joshua.

Ali was a brash young Clay who underestimated Cooper.

Are we just going to forget that Ali also beat better HW's than Cooper who possessed much more power?

The guys of today would have needed the opportunity that Cooper had.

It's not a given that they'd have gotten it.

    Styles make fights.

Ali had a hard fight against Doug Cooper yet he beat George Foreman.

Tyson Fury was dropped by a CW, but beat Wlad.

Regarding Lennox, he struggled like hell with Ray Mercer, with many people believing that Mercer deserved the nod.

No, athletes and boxers don't get better over time. It doesn't work like that. The best HW's of today are no better than the best HW's of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Only a fool would believe that. If boxing kept evolving over time, it would mean that all of today's guys would be superior to all of the fighters of yesteryear, meaning that today's guys would be the greatest fighters of all time. Yet that obviously isn't the case. Or are you saying otherwise?

If you want to discuss how a fantasy fight may have played out, you look at the attributes and the styles of both guys in question. You don't make a snap decision based on which era they fought in. The greatest fighters of the past would have been great in any era. Time doesn't dictate who the best fighters are.

Don't tell me to watch more boxing. You're so out of your depth here, I'm cringing at the thought of what you may type next.

at the end of the day, the human heart can only be so big without losing effieciency. Bigger man mean bigger heart, means less efficent cardio - coupled with the double disadvantage of serving a bigger body mass so needing to work even harder.

Being excessively bigger is not more "evolved", its a severe disadvantage

Joshuas the only one getting worn down because ofhis excessive size/heart ratio and reduced cardio.

The point you tried to make is Ali would be too fast, but the fact is he was hit often, and can not possibly evade Joshua's accurate combinations, just like Ali could not evade Coopers and the rest I gave examples of.

Yes they do get much better over time, that is why we have not had a 210 pound unified champion since the 90s, before we had athletic super heavyweights like Lennox Lewis.

They are so much better, so much improved that they can barely fight 2 times in 12 rds in a whole year whereas the terrible athletes in the past was able to fight 4-5 Times in 15 rounders.

You still seemed to failed to make any progress with your boxing knowledge or your IQ level James Smith/Galvatmoron.

That is a lot of crap. David Tua and Izu were in the biggest punch output fight in heavyweight history, and both have a higher BMI than Joshua.

    How is it bad?

Apparently, Ali would have had no chance against a modern SHW due to his size.

    Ray Mercer says otherwise.

Size alone doesn't determine the outcome of a fight.

this. i rarely bring up these biological truths because i figure it would be a waste of time trying to get these knuckleheads to understand, when they cant even grasp the basics of what they see with their own eyes. its like discussing trigonometry with preschoolers. not everyone of course, theres plenty guys here smarter than me, but they dont waste their time either.

Ray Mercer was not 210 pounds, not even close, and he lost anyway.

these ****ies will never get near enough a medical textbook to read these truths for a very good reason. You wouldnt want someone withoutthe abilty to grasp basic medical knowledge EVER coming near you in a hospital.

Maybe when they are 90 years old in the year 2060 and someone in a hospital tells them, will they finally accept it, cos they are about to frekin die.

He has a 100% KO rate against real heavyweights. If you don't think he has real punching power then that just shows how silly you really are.
