AJ vs Wlad, round 11. Joshua has a 41 year old Man hurt in front of him. He throws 17 punches, only lands 2 of them. And we're to believe he'd easily find the target on Ali.

Makes sense if you have the IQ of a banana.

Against bums. Gary Cornish would never see the top 50 in Ali's era!

Let's get this straight, he has him hurt in front of him, so he already found his target.

He landed another 2 times on him so found his target again. Not making a very good case are you.

Ali was hit often by far inferior fighters, of course Joshua would find his target, saying Joshua could not land on Ali is just plain silly and you know it.

Bro you said Joshua has a 100% ko ratio. Cornish is apart of that. Joshua knocked out no name bums aside from Whyte and Klitschko. Whyte isn't good and Klitschko was old af. Worst performance of WK's career.

Yes he does have a 100% KO rate against real heavyweights. Is that not true? Lol

Again, he was a brash young Cassius Clay when he fought Cooper.

When he fought guys like Mildenburger, he was fighting once per month on a tour of Europe.

Give him some credit. He'd have respected what Joshua would have brought to the table, and he'd have devised a plan to have emptied his gas tank.

Ali always had more issues with smaller, faster fighters. Again, styles make fights.

Joshua could have beaten Ali. There's no doubt about that. But again, it's not a given. A prime, fully focused version of Ali, up on his toes, circling and feinting etc, would have been extremely hard for a guy of Joshua's size to time. You've got to be a fool to think that all Joshua would had to have done would have been to walk over and start unloading. You don't even realise that Joshua's size could actually have been a disadvantage to him rather than a huge advantage.

You're misrepresenting the facts. What percent of his resume was even in the top 10 when he knocked them out?

Cooper and Joshua are 2 completely different fighters.

Frazier and Foreman were 2 completely different fighters.

Joshua may have crushed Cooper in mere seconds. But it doesn't mean that he'd have been able to have dropped Ali with the same left hook though.

I'm looking here solely from Joshua's perspective.

Ali could be hit, but he was never hit often in his mid 20's prime.

Ali's footwork would certainly have troubled a guy of Joshua's size, despite the success that smaller fighters had against him.

Boxers don't keep getting better with time.

You are just embarrassing yourself by saying things like the 70's era was weak and that those guys would have no chance because athletes get better.

If you ask me my opinion on how a certain HW of the past may have done today, I'm going to analyse his skill set, not scoff at the notion based on how long ago he fought.

Look the point I am making is Ali was not untouchable like all of you guys try and make him. What I hear all the time is how Ali was too fast and would not get hit and hurt. He did get hit often, he did get hurt badly.

The difference is he is going to get hit and hurt by something he has never had to deal with his whole career. Ali does not have the punching power to stop Joshua, he does not have the power. Joshua will land and hurt Ali, and has more than enough power to stop him.

I would love to see Joshua fight some guys similar size to Ali for better examples, but the reality is people Ali's size are not good enough to compete with boxers like Joshua. They get beat off by the inferior fighters lower down.

that fine - but there is a wealth of difference between "not being untouchable" and siding with the title of this thread "ali has zero chance vs huge guys"
