His record against top10 ranked heavies is 1-1-1-1. Great for a fat middleweight, but for a heavyweight it's nothing special.

By the way, that one win came against a 42 year old, shot Holyfield. You could argue he beat Peter the first time around, but he was dominated in the rematch when Sam came in at good shape, plus he should've lost the Rahman "Draw".

I don't see Toney beating either Klitschko's now. He's too old and clearly isn't as good as he used to be at heavyweight.

Toney has 1 KO at Heavyweight. And even that one was where Holyfield easily beat the count and his corner threw in the towel. Toney has done nothing at Heavyweight.

Toney is a great boxer but not a great heavyweight.

He would have little or no chance against the Klits.

Thank you. Can we please stop the Toney threads?

Vitali offered, Toney declined. This was discussed ad nauseum at the time. Toney is all talk.

Toney is all talk?? The man has proven time in time again that he backs up what he talks. He went from middleweight to heavyweight and beat a ton of good fighters. The only guy who is all talk so far is Haye.

    Toney was a great fighter.

But now he's old, fat, and impossible to understand when he talks.

His last ko was 5 years ago.

His last non Danny Batchelder win was 3 years ago.

He has no chance of beating Wlad.

The only way he beats VitKlit is if the older bro is totally shot from inactivity.

And if thats the case Peter will bludgeon him anyways so there won't be a Toney-VitKlit showdown.

I love Toney, but he would be outboxed by both Klits,
size wise he cannot hurt them and since Peter outboxed him,
    Klits can do the same.

You are failing in attempt to make a point that has nothing to do with the post you quoted...I was discussing how long it has taken WLAD to dispose of his opponents, CHEF says it would take longer to take out Toney...he knows better than you.

BTW, since you want to take it sideways by degrading James' resume, there is only one person you listed who beat him...and that's Sam Peter, word it however you want.

Wlad wins with the jab and his reach

Vitali wins ONLY if he keeps Toney at bay and uses his reach advantage

Because Toney doesn't use his feet anymore to close the gap, he can't get in range to do any scoring. And, since he not KOing any of the current heavyweights, he'll have score to get a decision.

The point is that James Toney has accomplished nothing at heavyweight. So, your 'better resume' argument is means nothing.
