Agreed! It's crazy...what does all this have to do with boxing?

I don't care where fighters are from, I care about how they fight, how they conduct themselves inside and outside the ring, etc...

Its pretty damn pathetic he gets offered 50/50 with no rematch yet doesnt want it, yet people are still trying to defend his ass.

Agreed. I don't see how anyone can defend him. Given that he's went from confronting Wladimir in public, wearing those t-shirts, etc... ALL OF THAT CRAP, to TURNING DOWN a 50/50 OFFER WITH NO OPTIONS!

Absolutely unbelievable. Just shows Haye was ALL TALK from the very beginning.

So it hasn't been 'turned down' then? I thought I'd missed something...

Lol as far as i have heard is the only response from Haye's camp has been no response, but with boothe's comments that he might as well face Povetkin because Haye needs to rest, but can negotiate with Fraudley while resting doesnt make much sence. :huh especially when the time frame for the actual fight is the same. Who knows maybe Haye will do a 180 and take the fight but considering he has been seen at events in london and was interviewed before the Mayweather fight but has been has yet to comment in 2 months it seems very unlikely he is willing to fight Wlad.

As they say in Brittan, the man has no bottle. Haye is a FRAUD. It would be fitting if Audley Harrison knocks him out.

Makes you wonder the real reason he pulled out of the first fight? Think he EVER had any intentions to show up? Serious question in light of recent developments.

I would consider ignoring the original deadline of May 17th, along with no response as of yet, as turning the offer down.

Unless a complete turn of events happens VERY SHORTLY, it ain't happening. Wlad will go on and fight Povetkin.

There was an org deadline to make the fight with Haye or go ahead with Povetkin, so yeah, he turned it down by doing nothing. He knew the conditions.

I think be tried to believe all of his own talk (all of the talk, t-shirts, etc... was to try and boost his own confidence), and he probably did believe it for awhile.

But somewhere along the line he started seriously thinking about it, and realized he couldn't beat Wladimir.

That's why there's been a complete 180 degree turn in Haye's attitude. He went from the loud mouth, I'm challenging you on the escalator, and here's a shirt where I'm holding your head, to absolutely quite, refusing a 50/50, no options offer.
