We keep our wars small. That's our thing. We lost around one hundred and twenty thousand men in Vietnam, Iraq and Korea. The European wars of the Twentieth century killed around 80 million. Read something, please?

The US got involved in 1944 when the Germans were already in full retreat on the Eastern front. The main reason of the US involvement was to prevent the Soviet Union from overrunning entire Europe.

Jesus. The Battle of Britain took place at the end of October, 1940. As the article states, we had been selling huge number of planes to the British since March. That's 9 months, friend. Sure, most of the plane may have be spits and hurricaines. But for you to suggest that American planes did not help Britain win is beyone ignorance. It's sheer bullheaded stupity. :D

Why are you still going on about this? Stop changing the subject. This is a boxing forum. Two guys in a ring, nothing more, nothing less. You want to play wargames or spew your take on history, you could find a better forum for that. The U.S. and Britain were, and still are allies. Enough of this ****, please, quit polluting the issue.

The motivation is absolutely irrelevant. I would expect an American to appreciate that. The fact is that the US lost almost as many men as the French and the British in a European war. As I said, most of the soldiers died in Europe. And guess what. They died fight Nazism, not communism. The geo political tactics of the politcos and generals is, as I said, meaningless.

 You stated that the war in Europe would not have been won without the US involvement, which is wrong. As I said, Germany was already in full retreat by the time the US Army landed in Normandy. The opening of the Western front in Europe surely brought the end of war closer, as the Nazis had to fight on two fronts. It did not, however, decide the outcome, as you tried to put it. The United Stated did help win the war in Europe, but that war would have been won without the US as well.

You people are still going on about WW2? In a boxing forum?

At least now you're starting to talk about boxing. But you just had to throw in a dig at my country. Still polluting the issue with your mindless politics.

You really think I'm jealous? If I hated Britain so much, I wouldn't give Froch any props for his performance against Kessler. But guess what? I think he got boned. Partially his fault, he gave away some rounds. He left some doubt in people's minds. But that **** easily could've been ruled a draw. I could go on and explain to you why I'm not biased against British fighters, but that's beside the point.

Haye did great at cruiser, the least heralded division in all of boxing. Name another cruiserweight champ that anyone talks about other than Evander Holyfield. We care about cruisers when they move up to the supposed marquee division of heavyweight. You're sidestepping the issue again.

My criticism of Haye has little to do with his performance at cruiser. I simply want the guy to back up what he said. Until he does, he will be regarded as a fraud.

You want me to defend American boxers? Is that the issue? Like I give a **** where anybody is from? It's no secret there is a dearth of heavyweight talent here. That's okay with me, we have a rich history to draw from. If all I cared about were American boxers, I wouldn't watch the sport, and I wouldn't be in a forum talking about two fighters from Europe. Besides, your criteria of "name a fighter who did X in X number of fights" is stupid. That's like saying Floyd Mayweather isn't a great fighter because he didn't move up from Featherweight to Lightweight after his 25th fight. Marvin Hagler fought 50 times before he got a title shot, all in the middleweight division. Those are the politics of the game, something Haye is familiar with.

You are growing tedious my friend. Welcome to my ignore list.
