Fat Dan said Mayweather-Pacquiao was trending to 5 mil PPV's. he was way off. Way to early to access any numbers.

The real key worth focusing on is that Canelo conceded a lot- both the weight and took a very short end of the PPV purse- to make this fight happen.

The shoe will be on the other foot for Golovkin. He will need to concede weight and take a short purse to make the fight happen with Alvarez just as Canelo just did. I've every confidence that will happen, because letting that fight slip thru his fingers would be a monumental mistake.

It doesnt really help Roc too much considering their guy lost.

    Not much to build on

Real recognise real. It's no wonder a real fight like this had more PPV buys in a week than Golovkin got overall. Fighting cans does not work Gennady, stop wasting your last few months/years of prime activity on cans.

Canelo is not my hero, far from it. But he represents everything that is good in Boxing. Taking on the top names in Boxing, fighting the most feared guys and building his cred. He has been rewarded with s****om and riches for his efforts. Canelo did not wait for the fights to happen like Golovkin is doing, he made them happen. He went up weight, he went down weight...he did everything to get the fights made and he us reaping the benefits now. Golovkin is either too scared or too cowardly to do that. He needs to make the effort. He is not a big fish, he is merely a tadpole.

Also who the **** uses email now?

I'll wait for confirmation if/when released by HBO.

Otherwise, these early estimates tend to overshoot the mark.

If GGG v Canelo did happen, Canelo is taking the lions share. He brings more to the table than GGG.
