per SkySports - Jessie Vargas wants to defend WBO title against Miguel Cotto

It's a decent fight but very unlikely to happen.

 

I doubt Cotto is going back to welter. If Vargas wants a PR/Mexico showdown he should call out Garcia. That would be a good fight.

Really? I think Márquez kind of wants blockbuster deals or nothing at this point, and he kind of has earned that.

I think Cotto will request a catchweight, thus making it a non title fight which would be pointless. JMM will be a world title fight which I've been wanting to see since they were both at 140... that's a good clash of styles imo.

Yeah but we all seen Cotto's demands for fights with Martinez and canelo.. if his demands are not met he will walk, he doesn't need Vargas.. But on the other hand Jmm is still trying to capture that 5th divisional world title which makes it a historic fight, not to mention a very good clash of styles.. Cotto and Kirkland makes sense, Vargas not so much.
