    (Round 1 not supplied)
Round 2-Witless yet clean brawl. West was the cleaner, more accurate, and busier puncher. West.
Round 3-A lot slower than 2, but both were busy. Bassett had a strong rally. Bassett.
Round 4-Very close. Bassett edged it with more accurate punches. Bassett.
Round 5-West was rocked while in the corner. Bassett followed up well afterwards. It was a close round otherwise. Bassett.
Round 6-This was really the only very slow round, and understandably so. Even.
Round 7-A powerful flurry by Bassett, consisting of a series of body shots, a right hand on the head, a left hook, and a second right hand, dropped a shocked West on the deck. His whole body kind of froze and he collapsed, and his head bounced off the canvas. West attempted to get up, but did not come close.

It's already been over a week since I watched it, but I remember it already looked like there was something wrong with West by round 3. He fought well for most of the fight, but did not look well.

Verdict: Talking strictly of fight quality, this was a very good fight. However, it is a death fight, and I know many of you do not like to watch those kinds of fights. The KO is not as brutal as say, Paret's death, but it still results in the death of a boxer. I say all that to say, I do understand.
