Stats | UFC Numbers aren't that wide. he also had Ank hurt briefly in the later rounds, there was a head kick in there. he never hit the ground which is impressive. His big problem was not being able to reverse off the cage, he allowed to much time for Ank to stall the clock. He needs to work on his cage-to-neutral and use a more active right hand, i honestly think someone pointed this out earlier that he was doing to many side quest and it showed a flat performance.
Dont really have to be much wider for it to be clearly in Anks favor. Threw over 40 more strikes in there, only landing 18 more but wobbled Alex multiple times and had Alex clearly vulnerable and frustrated imo. Ill rewatch but from what I remember it wasnt as bad as Alexs, which he was hurt at least twice. Ya his td was decent, surprisingly. Well see how flat Alex was or wasn't I guess, if they have a rematch. I expect the fight to look exactly the same or worse. Lets see what happens from here.

Ankalaev had the clearest rounds, 2 and 4, but I had Perreira winning rds 1, 3 and 5. 3 and 5 were very close, though, but I expected at least one judge to have it for Perreira.

the only rounds he won on the judges scorecards were from being brazilian and the money man in the fight. If alex won one round legit he woulda got the decision. Similar to canelo vs bivol. If canelo won 1 round legit he woulda had a draw on 2 cards.
why was anybody mad at that decision? That was the most pathetic performance. Did the guy throw one punch or kick with any conviction? I thought this man was a killer. Every single soul i told i got ankalaev said i was a fool. He won every round easy. alex did nothing literally. He was literally scared he was gonna gas.
