Perfect 1-2 Combination

    Just finished watching the Kessler-Beyer fight, and that KO would have to be the most perfect 1-2 combination that I have ever seen end a fight.

    Just wondering what other fights have you seen which have finished in such a perfect 1-2 to KO a fighter?

    Kessler has a great 1-2 . . . His 1-2 is what a 1-2 is supposed to be . . . Good strong jab to open up the target for the punch, straight right following that does the damage.

    He's good and all but seriously he needs to start using variety of punches cuz his arsenal is limited and it makes him look basic. He's good but far from great.

    I've seen far more impressive things done to a fighter of Beyer's caliber. Far more imaginative as well.

    I agree he needs more to his arsenal but I just thought that counterpunch 1-2 was just perfect technically.

    I think he's also starting to get a little too predictable in the ring, and against top top opposition, he wont be able to land anything flush like this. For example possible matchups which were discussed previously against Hopkins and Dawson are very bad matchups for him. I doubt he'll be able to touch hopkins, and Dawson with his reach will be a tough challenge for him.

    Other potentials like Taylor and Froch he will fair well against. Guys with average defence he will outbox easily.

    Vlad has a great 1-2, also a double left hook, hook-off-the jab, right hook, great jabs, how about the five left hook combo vs. Austin? The shortest left hook in heavyweight history vs. Shufford!!!!!!!

    Great, traditional, strong fighter. I'd like to see him fight Pavlik after Pavlik sweeps up at 160.

    kesslers 1-2 is one of his best tools, it is always well times, accurate and has good level of pop on it

    The 1-2 was perfect. And the opponent too easy to time. Slow jab and tends to lower the hand after throwing the jab. Perfect victim and Kessler was able to see it very early.

    Well, not even that. The guy started every attack with the left hand. And everytime he threw that left hand his right went down. Again perfect candidate for that 1-2. Just check it out. Forget about KEssler. Look at what the other guy does. IT was just the perfect candidate.

    Kessler's 1-2 is picture perfect. Wladimir has a perfect 1-2 also.
