This quote has been on the front page of theSweetscience.com for a few days:

    Cotto, Unbeaten, And Unbeatable

"Cotto looks to me like Tiger Woods. If he's on, he looks unbeatable. This guy has truly come into his own at 147. Margarito has an absolutely GRANITE chin, a must for a Cotto opponent, and if the version of AM we saw shows up for Cotto, it'll be a terrific action fight between two truly elite and prime welterweights. Both guys are fantastic body punchers, as we saw last night, so maybe that will be the difference when they meet.

As for Mayweather, does he really count? He hasn't fought a welterweight since Baldomir. I think both Cotto and Margarito would beat him right now. Maybe not when Mayweather was active 18 months - 2 years ago, but right now, he'd be overwhelmed by both."
---TSS reader Jonald is saying Cotto is P4P best, isn't he?

    Tiger Woods?

Tiger Woods is SRR, the Duran, the Henry Armstrong of golfing.
You wouldnt compare Cotto to them would you.

I think Money still takes them both, especially Magarito.

Okay, I was impressed as hell by Cotto, but what he did on Saturday was the equivalent of Tiger running away with a Pro-Am. Calling him Tiger "period" is not a good analogy.

I think the point is more just at this time, not career wise.

Though the point could be considered Tiger Woods does not and has not competed regularly against all-time greats or Hall of Famers hence making his career very easy.

I think Brian123 is meaning at this time. He ain't the tiger woods of the welters just yet.

you can say all you want but PBF taxes that ass on cotto and margo at leat thats my opinion . cotto looked awsome against gomez for ****s sakes **** iw as going for AG just for fun but anyone with a brain knew he was going to lose. any how cotto can't look like that aginst pbf hell he didn't even look like that aginst a mosely and a not as fast as he use to be mosely who once depended on his speed cuz that mythical **** about him being a supurb boxer is exactly that. Mosely is an avrage boxer with great speed and could mix it up the speed allowed him to land great combos and get off first thats what made him sugar. at his peak mosely would have to much speed for cotto but take that away and you got what you saw in november. **** PBF still has his speed and we al know cotto aint outboxing him. im looking foward to the cotto vs margo fight and expect cotto to beat margo. then we'll see pbf vs cotto. it's a styles match up and speed kills for cotto. just my opinion.

IMo i think the cotto-pbf is going to be great as cotto is a worthy challenger. but to compare cotto to tiger as far as standing in this sport is jumping the gun

Are those the new Cotto shoes? How do you like them? I still wear my old dark red Ever's but they are pretty bad!
