I don't watch boxing for comedy. I watch it to see a fight.

Apart from Mayweather vs Ortiz, that **** was hilarious.

Technically Bute was a stylistic nightmare for Froch as well. But he took the CPer role from the start and reversed roles while calmly setting traps.

Bute's lack of exp on the world stage gave him deer in the headlights look and he forgot what he was there to do.
When he started pushing the action mid rd1 I was like OH ****......who is this guy:-(

Froch beat Dirrell, will earn nothing out of beating him again other than shutting up a bunch of fanboys, he is 35 most likely has about 4-5 fights left, why should he fight Dirrell?

Froch will never give Dirrell a rematch after his pathetic running & hugging in the first fight. Yeh it was close enough, but you don't win world titles fighting like that. Froch has zero respect for that style, so i doubt he'll ever offer him another payday. After Dirrell's 2 performances in the Super Six his career is basically in tatters and he's got some serious catching up to do :deal

I would love to see this fight but Dirrell has been too inactive and he needs to earn his shot. Perfect scenario would be :

    Froch vs Kessler II

    Dirrell vs Abraham/Stieglitz winner

    Winners fight each other.

Dirrell deserves f all. He needs to get himself back into contention. Better off trying out for the US Olympic 1500 metre team the amount of running that boy did in Nottingham.

The next time Dirrell will be in England will be for the Athletics in the Olympics. Best thing the world could do is keep Andrea away from a boxing ring.

It would be nice to see Dirrell do anything at all. It seems like he is happy kicking back and having a nice time.

I dont think Froch will rematch Andre. It would not be a big money fight, and he it would be a huge risk, given how close it was the last time. Froch will make a go for Kessler instead. Thats is a winnable fight, a chance to avenge a victory, and a nice payday.

Andre Dirrell just needs to start work his way up. But I doubt he has what it will take.

    NO.
    What has Dirrell done?
Froch fights Kessler, Ward and Bute and Dirrells best win is either MW Abraham who isnt a top SMW or Oganov

Froch beat Dirrell, I don't get how anyone could say it was a robbery.

I am not even sure Dirrell will ever fight at the top level again. He does not seem to be making much of a come back since his injury.

IIRC, Dirrell had been trying to line up the rematch right after the 1st fight, appealing to the governing body and all that. Don't know what came of it, but obviously it wasn't a rematch.
As for now, don't know what is up with Dirrell, or why he isn't active.

Either way, if I were Froch, I would not fight Dirrell at this time. A)No money in it. B) Too dangerous stylistically, although Froch has improved his craft since then, while Dirrell............. ?

Kessler is a better idea, but I doubt he'll go that route straight off. If bute invokes the rematch clause, I don't think Froch would want to risk it against Kessler. Then again, Froch never seems to shy away from a challenge.

Why would Dirrell fight a guy he already schooled? He already knows he won't get the decision in England lol.

froch would want absolutely nothin to do with dirrell, he brings nothing to the table to a fight that anywhere outside UK he looses convincingly

Dirrell needs to build himself back up again. He doesn't deserve a title shot yet. Also I don't know how anyone could say Dirrell lost to Froch. Dirrell beat him easy.
