This is the way bodybuilding goes about it (in the non tested events) ... everybody clearly knows everyone else is taking drugs. In a sport like boxing though, I think it's a little different. In bodybuilding your not really hurting anybody and side effects good/bad only effect you. In boxing these things are very dangerous just from the power/strength benefits you can achieve but whilse staying the same size (some drugs will have this effect).
As soon as I see TURNS FAT INTO MUSCLE, I discredit it as pseudo babble at best. The rest is full of relatively false statements. That excerpt is a cut and paste job from a blog or forum or page, and it is definitely not reflecting a high level understanding of PEDs. It isn't a horrible attempt at all...but please, refrain from calling things like that "technical" when speaking on PEDs. If you want to educate then do not do it from a position full of clichéd myth speak. Getting the message across that PED use is rampant, and that the general public/fans can be extremely naïve in there beliefs is a decent thing to do. Just do not increase the ignorance of the subject that many (blamelessly) have, with misinformation or sweeping generalizations.
1. You're right, fat doesn't turn into muscle. Steroids aren't magic and can be counterproductive in some cases. 2. TRT can be prescribed by a doctor so I think fighters can have an excuse if their test levels are over the limit. So someone with a normal test level can still find a way for a doctor to prescribe them TRT and therefore have a good avantage. TRT will give you quite an advantage, trust me. You gain muscle about 50 % faster. But TRT probably isn't enough to just launch you to the top of your sport ( the top is probably juiced to the gills) Just found another ''loophole'' about TRT. I think it's called testosteron siphionate ( different ester). When they test you the metabolite shows up, but they don't know how much you took. You're now safe to use any amount of testosterone you want. ( if you ofcourse have a prescribition from your doctor that says: you need this drug for ''medical'' reasons :yep) 3. There are studies out there that suggest that HGH by itself isn't really that great, but combined with test it becomes a great drug. Side effects really depend on people misusing/abusing a drug or they are predispositioned. Anyway, every top player in every sport is probably on something. You just have to accept it. I don't blame anyone using PED on the top level in their sport. Even when you try to reduce the amount of PED usage as much as possible, there is always going to be someone that can slip trough the test. The best people in a sport are probably all on PED. The ones that stick out from the rest are the ones that have the better genetics and the work ethic.
pac ran from tests after demanding floyd accepts his 10 million dollar per pound weight penalty right idiot? Then runs from a record payday, to get paid 6 million!! He, also says he fights for fans, people, country but not one off his supporters says a word. why?
I've pretty much been a gym rat since i was age 10-12. my dad used to take me so the gym just became like a 'second home' pretty much. anyway, my point is that I've seen pretty much every body type there is, and when you've been going to a large gym like I have for so long, then you develop a keen sense of judgement about who's juicing and who's not, and 99.5% of the time you are correct about it. the different body shapes you see everyday, endomorph, mesomorph, ectomorph. first you see an ectomorph and he's a string bean, and a year later he looks like a blowed up mini-arnold, with his veins showing around his biceps and etc then yeah, it's a good assumption that he did steroids or some kind of heartbeat-modifying drug to get there. It's like those world-class bodybuilders, they all start having heart problems around age 50, (like what 40% of them have heart attacks around that age) expect arnold schw. to begin having issues, and of course this makes it so obvious that Holyfield did steroids if you look at other steroid users hearts, it's the exact same problem he had. so people saying holyfield didn't juice are 1> ethnically biased, 2> uneducated on the issue I can look at an individual and tell if he's been on juice, it's just something i can do. I'll give a small list of fighters that I know, have done some kind of steroid in the past, be it some kind of anabolic **** from gnc, be it a needle in the ass ps- tyson is a natural mesomorph, after seeing pictures of him at age 12, it's obvious his family line were super slaves, bred to be beastly. i wonder what his dad looked like, notice you never seen any pics of mike's dad. anyway, a short list off the top of my head... david tua evander holyfield ty fields (rofl) roy jones vitali klischko(be it soem kind of anabolic **** from gnc, i know the klischko's have dabbled in juice..most likely the kind you inject with a needle..ppl from that part of the world have always used steroids and unorthodox training to become big in sports..why should they be any different, their bodies are unique in a way that the muscles are like no other human being ever before, of course they ****ing juiced, /flame on,but before you do, take a look at Primo carnera, then a look at either klischko, granted carnera was a lesser fighter, but still. you can tell that isn't natural muscle on the klischkos, you can just tell, be it gnc anabolic **** or not,i guarantee they take some kind of **** like that if they dont shoot in the ass) wladimir klischko ken norton shane mosely
haven't been clean for forty years. they always have a new, untraceable, drug ready to go. far more money to be made selling to athletes, than in catching them. btw, no league, nor federation, is really interested in stopping it anyways.
OSDT doesn't catch cheats like Usain Bolt. It's not going to catch Mayweather or Pac who have war chests with millions of dollars to get the best dope and specialists money can buy. Drug tests are just designed to catch the dumb, careless, and small time guys, the same as our drug laws are all designed around catching street crime. It's another thing entirely trying to catch Pablo Escobar or bring down one of the cartels.
corpsejr from a midget who has not kod anyone at ww, for a 100million dollar payday. now you have 500yr old bhop to fight a monster ko artist with no demands. big difference between a coward and an atg.:hi::good
Even if everyone is doping, it's still not a level playing field. Some guys will dope a little and some will dope a lot. Poor guys will have access to old shitty steroids and rich athletes will be injecting the latest cutting edge state of the art stuff. Then at the lower end of things, it's safe to assume it's mostly PED free since none of those guys makes enough to afford PEDs.
either way, you start to wonder, why is corpsejr wants to level the playing field when he is at the top of the food chain? scuurrreedddddddd.:deal
1. I can't believe I have to explain this, but here goes: Fat is an oversimplified term for a great number of lipid deposits, directly under the skin (often referred to as body fat) and spread around the body. While a certain amount of fat serves the purpose of insulation, toxin storage and cushioning for the vital organs, the excess calories cause the body to create "energy storage" in form of fat deposits, usually around the stomach/thigh/buttocks area. In layman's terms, that fat is unused calories preserved for the time of need. The reason why it is often said fat is turned into muscle is because as the body goes into caloric deficit with unrestricted protein supply, fat is used up for energy and muscle is being built in the process. Obviously, muscle does not grow out of fat, but its a fairly common expression that I knew readers would be familiar with. I could go more technical into any particular part of the post if there is interest. 2. Both TRT and HGH are incredibly potent for boxers and fighters because they speed up metabolism and greatly increase protein synthesis. They also give fighters a sense of euphoria and a huge energy boost.
a. you can see my explanation on fat to muscle posted directly above. b. The mid part is directly from a peer reviewed article published in 2007 on the steroids in professional sports. I at no point in time wish to take credit for it, and its fairly easy to find the article by simply cut and pasting the lines in google. There was an earlier paper published in 1998 on the same topic, this paper was a followup. Had I known you expect the citations and sources, I would have sent you a latex document instead. c. It is hard to take the rest of your criticism seriously when you don't actually point out what's wrong with what I wrote. None of what I said is cliche myth speak: I've read extensively on the subject and there hasn't been a single documented case of prolonged steroid use that didn't result in side effects detrimental to the user (as covered in the old school section) and the HGH/TRT is currently the hottest topic in big pharma as it is literally seen as the fountain of youth. Some 30 years ago hgh was produced from cadavers, a disgusting practice, which is no longer the case.
The explanation given for "muscle turning to fat" is incorrect and goes against human physiology. Adipose tissue and muscle tissue are two entirely different types of tissues and cannot possibly/magically change into one another. It is apples to oranges. Fat cells can shrink due to proper nutrition alongside exercise. Muscle tissues can grow with proper nutrition alongside proper stimulation through training. The net effect is a higher percentage of lean body mass......the "fat to muscle, or muscle to fat" gym talk is pure myth. The rest of the cut and paste doc does indeed have a lot of myth (pseudo) speak in it, more directly to the issues of side effects. Yes there are side effects short term. Long term? Debateable as most research shows virtually all are reversible over time . As with all things, gross abuse may lead to irreversible long term damage. But that will only be found in a small percentage of users. If you want to continue researching and expanding your knowledge base on the subject, I'd suggest Charles Yesalis. The foremost authority in the world on PED use in sports. Some other researchers and authors with both the academic credentials, research pedigree, and personal use experience to consider; Bill Roberts, William LLywellin.
