I think Montiel getting back up and taking those to punches is more impressive then Donaire delivering that unbelievable hook.

    That was last November....

Rubio would deserve a shout but i think the level of his opponent was just overrated. As soon as he hit him you could tell he didnt have a great chin.

Morales from what i hear was amazing so he might be the front runner.

Rios-Acosta was a great fight but really not an awesome performance IMO. Either fighter was hurt and it was a pretty even fight.

I guess to me an awesome performance would be a complete underdog putting on a great show or 2 evenly matched fighters and one blowing the other one out.

    Morales
    Donaire
    Rubio*** Maybe Lemiuex was overrated?
    Guerrero

Agree, good call...Rubio knew if he weathered the early rounds he could get to Lemieux late...

I thinks its official Morales thus far, the only way ortiz takes the spot is if he made bert O quit, and its not likely

For me its Rubio. That was an exciting fight, rarely do you see a fight turn around that quickly after being so one sided, you could see what Rubio was doing, just not sure if he could do it. It reminded me alot of the Pavlik-Taylor fight, not exactly of course but the way when it really started to turn how exciting it was to watch to end come quickly, one of those fights that really gets you pumped up fast! Morales, I had the fight a draw, if he would have won, then no doubt that would top the list, still a great fight though.

Bam Bam Rios stands out for me, coming of age performance. Morales would definately be my honorable mention.

Marquez over Katsidis probably for me. Some of the best infighting and combinations from JMM in in exciting fight that both men were energized in.

Nonito Donaire... SRS skills and to this date I have yet to see a fighter deliver a punch that made the victim have convulsions on the floor.

Morales for me if he won...but as surprising as that performance is... he lost. So, the Flash for me.
