Performances that don't get their due because they were too dominant?

Sometimes a fighter is so surprisingly dominant over his opponent that the performance is more or less disregarded. Pac vs DLH is probably the prime example of this imo, but RJJ vs Toney springs to mind as well.

    Any other examples?

Lewis was awful v Bruno and Frank wasn`t in the same league as Duran P4P, Bruno left himself wide open and Lewis caught him with a hook, Foreman did something similare against Moorer after being outjabbed, this was not vintage Lennox at all.

Prime Foreman's whole legacy is more or less built on Frazier and Norton, so I think he gets his due for them.

Is it Lewis or Bruno you don't think gets his due, and what was so surprising with that fight?

Tyson probably don't get quite what he should for Holmes, no, seeing that Larry would show that he still had a fair bit left.

I think Vitaly's performance against Peter was quite awesome all things considered, and perhaps he doesn't get enough recognition for that. Haven't seen it discussed much personally.

Hearns vs Duran is a good shout. It's really hard to take in that he could crush Roberto like that.

Perhaps. Was it that surprising, though? Wasn't the odds quite firmly in Floyd's favour?

But Floyd doesn't get much credit for many of his wins. Just rewatched DLH-Mayorga, and I don't think DLH ever looked better. A much smaller Floyd would beat him in his next fight and don't get much credit for that win either.

The fact that Oscar was severely weight-drained and getting beaten up in camp by lightweights (Valero) has a lot to do with the first one.

But if we’re m including that then Mayweather-Canelo and Mayweather-Marquez also make the list for sure.

Not too surprising for boxing folk such as ourselves.

However, the casuals and the pac-**** responses were crazy. First about the injury. And don't get me started on the slow mo videos. Even good channels like Artorias boxing had vids like 'why Pac landed more' and weird, cut versions of different language commentary praising Pac lol.

Was he drained, though? I heard that he rather cut weight and was pretty close to the limit in the ring, but maybe I remember wrong.

And was the Valero thing talked before the fight or only after? Because Oscar was the favourite going in.

If the favourite being manhandled is disregarded we have a severe case of hindsight after tye fact. That's for sure. And I'm always very sceptical of such cases.

BHOP over Tarver. Tarver was a badass at 175 but Bhop absolutely dominated him.

That was an awesome performance, but I think Tarver may have been drained.
