Perhaps One of the Worst Stoppages Ever

    WTF? Now they stop fights for no reason whatsoever. :nut

    Sheika wasn't even friggin' hurt and the ref called it off. :patsch

    And people wonder why some old time boxing fans get PO'd at today wimpy refs!

    Back in the day, they let the fight end as it was meant to, with somebody out on the canvas!:fire

    Yeah and when they are out on the canvas they are called glass jaws by the likes of you.

    The stoppage wasn't the best but wasn't terrible either, Sheika wasn't doing anything there.

    So what?? You don't just stop a fight because one guy lost four rounds! :patsch

    One of the exciting things about boxing is guys coming back who are losing. Jones' chin is KNOWN to be suspect. Sheika should have been given his chance, and the fans should have gotten what they paid for.

    I my day, boxing was a man's sport. The fans went BALLISTIC when fights were called off early like this, and it only rarely happened. The refs that did it, like Joey Curtis, were drummed out of the sport. And deservedly so.

    the fight was a joke. I feel sorry for whoever payed money to see it.

    He was catching Roy once or twice a round:

    Roy has been one punch Ko'd before, and Sheika wasn't hurt. Two very good reasons not to stop the fight.

    Exactly. People bitched about the hometown decision on the undercard - this was a hometown stoppage. Absolutely outrageous.

    You cats are cring and bitching about a fight that really has nothing to do with the current landscape of boxing...You cats act as if this was a big time fight...Jones is shot, Shieka wasnt doing sh*t...I glad they stopped the fight or eles it would have been more of the same..

    Shut up with all the ****ing bitching, no one forced you to watch if you even did.
