lack of ofense?thats why i say that his ofense is underrated, many times he threw more than 100 punches a round. And when youre so much better than anybody else sometimes things are boring.
I'd take Griffith to beat him at WW. Griffith was the naturally bigger, stronger fighter and more natural at the weight. I'd pick most of the top WW's to beat Pea in close bouts, but I could see him hanging with all of them. Griffith had a very good jab and very good boxing skills, and was a very versatile fighter, as he was excellent on the inside as well. I think he'd look to keep this fight at mid to close range, with Whitaker obliging and fighting him evenly at mid-range(perhaps even a slight edge) but Griffith's pressure and inside work would get the better of Pea due to his strength. Therefore I'd tale Griffith to get the better of most of the work, and win a Decision.
Pernell Whittaker is a legend plain and simple. His fight with Ramirez has to be one of the worst decisions of all time, won all 12 rounds yet still dropped a decision.
