Pac's abilities are way more subtle than most fighters. He dominates fights but people don't understand why. That's why they don't understand how he would fare in fantasy matchups. It's always been like that. Put Pac in a fantasy matchup agaisnt Barrera at 126 and Barrera would beat him.

I think the word "easy" should not have been mentioned at all. It would have been a good fight and I believe Pernell would have seen those openings that the fighters today see, but can't take advantage. Like Mosley's trainer mention. Pernell would win by decision.

even this HL right here has some pretty good comps of his ohko's you can see that he's not just creating them from speed and timing, there's some heavy, accurate shots in there. He had tendency like a lot of 90's guys to flurry ineffectively but when he sat down....

    forgive the soundtrack

But that is the thing though, if Pac never faced Barrera, everyone will say Pac vs MAB would be like Hamed vs MAB but Pac being KO because at least Hamed had chin.

    Or some BS like that.

I am not saying Pac should dominate every ATG he faces, ****, I have him lower than most people in my ATG list (outside of haterz). I have him in top 20 while others already have him top 10!
But to say that Pac has no chance beating the like of Pea, JCC, PBF, Arguello, etc is bias I think.
He has handled 3 GREAT Mexican TECHNICIANS of his time and took shots from Cotto and Margo and yet people keep repeating that he loses to technicians and strong punchers.

you dont know **** about baaxin

cotto low blowed zab 45 seconds after he was hurt, when he regained himself and plus the first low blow was just grazing zab just overreacted like a *****.

how comes cotto didn't lowblow margo or pacquiao when he was getting beaten around the ring even worse?

For what it's worth I think that opinions on the guy will change when he retires and his legacy's cemented. And I do think he'd beat Arguello(seeing as how he's a better Pryor) and would be 50-50 against JCC, who i think is a lot like Barrera but better.

Let me add that Zab's prroblem with Clottey was his size. Zab was doing a good job, but he was just too outsized.
