I know Peas an overwhelming fav at welter but what about junior middle where brown beat a peak Norris

Still reckon Pea could scrape home

I actually think Brown would give a better account at Welter, well the earlier brown that could use his ranginess to box and set his shots up well.

He was a pretty ordinary junior middle and the style he used by then isn't likely to bother Whitaker.

Very true, I'd agree with that. Especially given Pea's inclination to bang on the inside, a sharp, peak Brown could do some damage at welter.

Pea slowed down at 154, but he'd still see everything the one dimensional (by that stage) Brown wanted to throw at him and ride the nasty stuff at 154.

Whitaker would always beat Brown and make him look slow and ineffective. That is the Whitaker style.

Whitaker took it a bit too easy training whenever he fought at 154...

That said, Brown had really slipped by the time he arrived at 154, and outside of the what 10%? chance he lands a bomb, Whitaker is winning easily.

A late 80s Brown could quite easily upset the slack unmotivated Sweet Pea of the Rivera and Hurtado fights...
