2 crafty talented boxers with style, how do you see this interesting fight go? Would Whitaker be able to handle a smooth speedster like El Tigre Colonense?

Whitaker SD in a fight which isn't as entertaining as it sounds in the mind's eye. I could pick either here, since Laguna is massively underrated and his unorthodox right leads and set ups would give Whitaker hell, especially if he was caught with his feet crossed as he was prone to do, since Laguna had the speed and class to exploit that.

    Good matchup.

While Pea is greater, the Laguna who outboxed Ortiz in their first fight is probably one of the best H2H lightweights of all time. Not an easy fight for ANY lightweight in history, that includes Whitaker, whom I consider the second best/greatest lightweight behind Duran.

Pea would have step outside his comfort zone and fight aggressively here, because from the outside he'd struggle with Laguna's length and handspeed.

Ultimately, I do think class tells and Whitaker finds a way to win, but it'd be by far Whitaker's toughest test.

One of my top 10 all time favorite clinics to watch.

Poor Mando. Laguna lit him up horribly.

Laguna SD, in a 15 rounder, Whitaker UD in a 12.
