    It could actually prove to be something of a classic with a more fiery Chavez on the prowl. Still, the lightweight Whitaker was a notch above the one in 1993; his work rate was fantastic and his style was no easier to solve. That right jab, that uncanny sense of distance and that game-rattling tomfoolery would all work their magic in a more energetic, but similar night to the one that unfolded in the Alamodome.

    Sweat Pea, close but clear (not barring some insane scoring).

    Whitaker's skills would see him through. Approximately 9 - 6 in rounds.
