    Pacquiao didn't beat Marquez :yep

And Whitaker's first real loss came against Trinidad and that was when he was way past it.

And again Whitaker wins all 12 rounds.

Other Pac fans (not calling you a hugger) seem not to share your logic.

Ah right, I see now, sorry mate.

To be honest, I would attribute anyone saying Pac would win more to them having not seen a lot of Sweet Pea than I would to an irrational love for the Pacman. In my experience, the majority of Pacquiao fans readily admit his shortcomings when pitted against the likes of Duran. Anyone who thinks Pac could beat Pea must simply not have seen most of the fights in Pea's peak years. The guy was on another level, he's one of the elite fighters of history.

I think the term schooling is an understatement.

Apologies all mine, I see how my comment could of been taken wrongly. Pac is great fighter, but Whitaker was truly a marvelous boxer. As always it's a style thing.

    This is a joke right?

Even if Pac managed to land one flush shot on Sweet Pea, his chin was solid. Over 12 rounds, Sweet Pea would make Manny look "like a fool" (Mr. T - The A Team).

To be honest mate, I wouldn't even say it's a style thing this time. Pea was simply on a different level as a fighter, it's a quality thing IMO. Pacquiao is a truly GREAT fighter in my eyes, but Whitaker is one of a select few truly ELITE gods that this sport has produced.

When was the last time Walk With Me started a thread which clearly overmatched Paul Williams or Floyd Mayweather??

He has done Pac v Whitaker this week, how about next week we see:

    PAUL WILLIAMS vs CARLOS MONZON

    or

FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs SUGAR RAY LEONARD?

Whitaker by 8 rounds to 4, maybe even wider. Pac is great, but it isnt his natural weight class and Whitaker would have seriously outboxed him.

I can't believe that some of the posters here in ESB thinks that the greats of yesteryears are W A Y better than the greats of today. For christ sake the game is changing and developing so that also applies to the fighters. Are these people gonna tell me that the styles of yesterday are way better than to day. The styles of today are molded and being developed from the styles before, so don't just tell me that pea is gonna school pac and embarass him, and don't tell me that pea has seen already the style of pac 'coz that only shows how close minded you are... I honestly believe that the chances of the past greats against the greats of today are 30-40% only... Note that we are talking about the greats here, not the bums... And pac is great with speed, power, stamina, plus with awkward but effective style and with a very knowledgeable coach... How will they deal with that?

    Sweat Pea by a decision.
