This fight is probably one of the most difficult fights to score in history, you can't say the decision was a robbery because as I said of the difficulty scoring the fight.

I didn't like the result so it's close enough to vote yes

    Naw

I had it 113-112 oscar, it was a very close fight, defintley not a robbery. Oscar led early, whitaker came on strong, then oscar closed the show late. oscars superior workrate and more powerpunches and whitakers clowning did it for me.

I voted yes, but it has more to do with Whitaker not getting an immediate rematch than the actual decision.

I believe I had Whitaker winning by a point when I saw the fight air on HBO PPV. A one point victory on my card going the other way wouldn't normally be a robbery. De la Hoya's margin of victory did disturb me. Almost everyone that I talk to that thought Oscar won, only had him ahead by a point or two. Not 4 or 5. It was though Oscar was the champ, and Whitaker had to take his belt. Whitaker was not granted a rematch afterward. In a fight that a champion as great as Whitaker loses a disputed decision, an immediate rematch was in order.

Oscar took his title and ran.

I'm in the minority here. I thought that the judges were in tune with reality. My score was right along theirs......For me, Whitaker's lack of consistency as far as putting up a quality offensive off of his great defense.....I just cant find myself giving a defensive fighter a round, when he does'nt take advantage of his great defense and position himself to land substantive, quality shots.

Well, Whitaker did land more punches than DLH so much for his lack of offense.

Well, i thought he did, his punches weren´t as hard as Hoya´s but they were significant and enough to make DLH blink ;)
