He didn't land any by my count, and in case you were unaware, defense is part of the scoring criteria. So there goes that theory.
I no longer have the fight on tape. I know when I first saw the fight, I had Dlh winning by a point. I came out the next day and was talking to my boys about the fight, and they were like I was bugging saying Dlh won. The fight was so hard to score, I never watched it again lol. I scored the fight based on Dlh's aggressiveness, and he missed every damn punch he threw. Pea did no better, but he landed more body punches, and jabs. It looked like Pea did hit Dlh more, but his punches weren't that hard, and Pea is usually a guy who will land his best punch on you. This fight was so close in my eyes, but I did pick Dlh. My boys all had Pea winning. They said Dlh missed everything he threw.
I think you mean 140, typo, but I agree with you here. Was it you who said you believed oscar would have stopped kosta zysu?
Obviously, considering your points to refute it held zero weight and you have nothing to rebut my rebuttals with. There was nothing at all wrong with the post I started this off with, as proven by your weak attempts at responses. Come up with a decent rebuttal to my points. You've irked me with your ignorance so I'll be here pestering you until you've come up with a something, or else conceded that you're in the wrong here.
I did mean 140, and I probably did say that, as I felt Oscar was just better all around than Tszyu and would've gotten the better of any exchanges with his combination punching and outboxed him from range with his superior jab and movement.
Yeah, and Pea is a legend, and a definite H.O.F fighter. Don't blow up Dlh, and then take away from Pea. Pea is a far greater fighter than Dlh. It's not even close.
Was it not blatantly obvious who I was referring to considering this is a thread involving the two of them?
Exactly...Dlh and Tito did not face Sweetpea at his best, but they still fought a decent version of Sweetpea. King kept Tito away from Pea until they thought Pea was old. Pea was calling Tito out for a while.
Come up with a rebuttal. Oscar was in his prime, at the peak of his powers when he faced Whitaker. Both myself and SuzieQ believe that, even if he's going to claim that by it being DLH's first fight at WW, he wasn't adjusted. That's obvious nonsense considering he fit the weight perfectly and was the bigger man in the ring versus a smaller, past prime opponent. So there goes that theory of yours. You misinterpreted my other point and made an ass of yourself in the process by overanalyzing something so simple. You called the matchup at LW subjective and offered no actual counter, so how do you claim to have any kind of edge in this debate?
Just because you feel Pernell won does'nt make this fight a robbery,it was a close fight that had diffrent aspects to it in terms of judging who won.
You didn't score the Hagler-Leonard fight for Hagler based on clean punching...lol, did you? Hagler was missing most of his punches lol. Sure he cornered Leonard at times, and landed some good body shots, but Leonard blocked many of them. Leonard made Hagkler miss, connected to the body and head, and got the crowd into the fight. Hagler didn't win on clean punching because he hardly landed lol...
