Pea looked shite and getting past his prime at 154. But Mosley IMO has never put on an impressive performance at 154..not relative to what he is capable of at other weights. I think the Roids and could be the difference here. One assisting Mosley and the other working against Pea. Hard one to pick for me..Im going to side with Pea though to eek it out, possibly with a debatable ending...Even with that version of Pea and that version of Shane the gulf in skill is quite large.
I agree with this, Mosley has never done anything that qualifies him as a great light middleweight in my opinion. Beaten by Winky twice, once very comfortably, i had him clearly losing to Oscar, there's only the Vargas spectacular ko really, and i don't see a repeat of that here at all. I'm not writing him off, he does have the strength on his man in this one and the body shots might do him good, but i reckon Whitaker would be able to put to good use his pocket work and frustrate Mosley in spots to take a close one.
Mosley couldnt get past Winky's guard and jab, he had problem with Forrests skills, he had problems with DLH when he boxed, so he isn't getting past Whitaker's defense. Whitaker wide UD
