There’s already another thread on this on the General forum but figured I make another one on the Classic forum to see what people on here think.

Bud has now fought and won titles at 135, 140, 147, and 154 just like Sweet Pea. Who would you have favored in each weight classes they fought in? Do you see Whitaker outclassing Bud in every weight class or can you see Bud getting the better of Whitaker in the higher weights?

At 135 I’d favor Whitaker. He peaked in that division while Crawford was still learning. Beyond that I’m not sure

lightweight/ super light / and welter (The only caveat I have at welter was the cocaine abuse
started showing it's ugly head Whitaker wasn't at his best from it.)
Whitaker wins by UD at 135, UD at 140, split dec win at 147, at 154, Crawford wins.
Not because he's better , but because of Whitaker's regression .

Pernell wins at 135, Crawford edges it at 140. And bud wins fairly comfortably above 140
