Pernell Whitaker vs Terry Norris @154

Norris...naturally the bigger fighter.

 

Oh HELL YEAH! Norris, who else!

 

At 154, I would have to go with Norris. Obviously, Pernell is the better fighter overall.

 

Pernell Whitaker controls Norris with his jab the same way he controlled oscar.

 

Sweet Pea was one of the very best to be sure, but I think at 154 is stretching himself a bit too far.

 

He would control Norris with the jab, and give him a boxing lesson for portions of the fight. I'd still pick Norris to win. It's his natural weight and he's the naturally bigger fighter with speed to boot.

 

Norris, and this why weight divisions exist.

Sweet pea was brilliant imho won of the greatest ever but I think Norris being naturally much bigger with excellent speed and power and plentiful skill would be a bridge to far for pernall.Norris on points.

 

Often times I take a great smaller fighter to defeat a very good bigger fighter, but this would not be the case.

A bad size and style matchup for Whitaker. I think Norris takes this one by clear decision.
