What if, after beating Vasquez, Whitaker had one more fight at JMW, and fought Norris? Could he have pulled it off?
Not sure. I had lost a little bit of contact with the sport around this time, so I don't know the form of the two men in 1996. I would not pull against Pea too much though, as he proved to be capable of being competitive with guys like De La Hoya, who was a much bigger man. I would imagine by this time both had slipped somewhat though, so I need to check my facts before commenting further.
