Battle of two all time great boxing scientists... 15 rds. Almost to tough to pick. My heart says Benitez, an defensive wizard who was probably at his best at 140. But, would he be busy enough against Sweet Pea ? Who was a very fast and effecient fighter. Great hand speed and he could dig to that body, would his southpaw stance and speed be to much for Benitez ? I will take Benitez by a lose 15 rd split decision... I think he would lay back, counter punch of the ropes, and mix in enough right leads (which he had a great one) and body work to squeak it out. That Benitez that upset `Kid Pambele `...

    Tough one.

One thing to note: In some of Benitez' biggest fights (albeit against ATG's) he comes up short. Whitaker doesn't.

All I can say is I'd be rooting for Whitaker and I'd also put money on him in this one.
