    He had many great fights, my personal favorite is his domination of JCC.

    For me Hurtardo past his prime Whitaker showed just what a complete and incredible fighter he was his back had never been against the wall but when he had to go for the ko which never happened before he showed he could do it Sweet Pea Whitaker top 10 p4p of all time:good

    My personal fav fight was his win over Diosbelys Hurtado.
    (Pea showed alot of gut's to pull that fight off)

    Nelson for performance.

    Possibly McGirt II I like that fight aswell.

    Also Harold Brazier fight, simply because he fully shows off his extremely under-rated offensive skills.

    I voted Chavez because of opposition quality + performance.

    On JUST performance its between Ramirez II & Nelson.

    Ps. Haugen should replace either Hurtardo or Mayweather on the poll.

    I must also add that for quality of opposition + performance his win over McGirt in their 2nd fight was just plain masterfull... that was the last we seen of the real prime Pernell Whitaker IMO, beautiful.
