good shouts Pea and Robbi the improvement from McGirt 1 to McGirt 2 is brilliant pea really adjusted and near shut him out after a close difficult first fight
I still thought Pea's infighting was excellent in McGirt I. Yes Buddy fought brilliantly and gave Pea trouble, but Whitaker dug deep and pounded it out, I was very impressed by him in that first fight. That fight is not an example of Pea's stunning skills like Nelson or Haugen are, but it is a good example of his grit and skill under pressure.
:rofl:rofl he did but Pea was alot better in the second fight also Dinbamita great points pea really dugged (not a wrod) and showed his grit in the first one but so did McGirt who had a dmaged arm
Whitaker struggled to get to grips with McGirt for 4-5 rounds. When he sussed him he cruised down the stretch. He suddenly decided to become an aggressive puncher and beat the hell out of McGirt.
As SP aswell mentioned, Harold Brazier. This was a fight that fully showed Pea's offensive capabilties, things that are often not talked about like his inside fighting, and his body punching.
