I think Alexis is more capable than people give him credit for. After beating Ruben for the title, some of those in the know were saying he better stay away from Chacon and sometime later down the road, they met and he broke him to pieces.

Ther Feranndez fight wasnt even a fight. Did you happen to see it? It was not a fight and off this one contest AA got himself a reputation that he could deal with movement.

Ferandnez wasnt even fighting. It was in New York in front of all the

and all he does is run. Even Leonard would occasionally fight in his bouts but Vilomar does no fighting; he just runs all the time first in one direction then the other

Hector would be a consderably tougher fight for Alexis because of the speed of Camacho but he'd get thru to him (although later than he would against Pernell)

****in stupid recommendation of sweet pea's inside fighting capability

    :lol::lol::lol:

the guy had no power. he got the power puff girl power to begin with.

he duck, hold, ran away like a ballerina. if pac connceted to his chin ala hatton just like tito did to his chin he would be gone. dont get me wrong he is an excellent tactician and defensive fighter, but glorifying a fighter who got a power puff girl power is a grave sin :rofl:rofl

    crazy classic posters.

Tito hits twice as hard as pac and couldn't put away a shot whitaker yet pac going to 1 punch KO a prime version. If you say so

As for the video, well it proves that pea could live with and get the better of chavez on the inside, that would be chavez a fighter far more accomplished on the inside than pac has ever been, pac's much much better at mid range anyway, where he can get leverage on his straight left and spring in and out of range with the right hook.

Whitaker might lack power but he would school pac on the inside, far more skilled, works the body better, far better defence etc. But of course he lacks power so he must be **** :admin

you could have said school pac "outside" by clowning, duck, hit, back step and i will believe you. but geeh, inside??:lol::lol:

clown. he's scared to go inside because he couldnt clown. he wouldnt dare to trade inside because he couldnt back step and ran away. and he wouldnt do it inside his power is nill. he holds most of the time when he feel the heat. what are you saying about his inside powess. :rofl

Don't presume to know anything about me, you know ****. Pac has more power in his left hand, that's about it. He doesn't have anywhere near the versatility with it that Whitaker had. That is pretty much the case with any comparison between the two that could be made.

And please point me out any instances where Pacquiao showed good in-fighting ability, particularly against a skilled in-fighter. Even against Hatton he was uncomfortable in close quarters and relied on his footspeed to keep the distance and unleash his right hook when Hatton stormed in like an ape. Pacquiao has never shown that part of his game.

How exactly is Alexis going to 'school' Whitaker? He couldn't even school the likes of Bobby Chacon, Ruben Castillo, Jose Luis Ramirez or Vilomar Fernandez (or Ruben Olivares or Ernesto Marcel - though he fought both before his prime).

He might knock Pea out, but he isn't schooling him, and isn't winning more rounds than him if he was only holding his own (in terms of winning rounds) or losing fights to the above fighters, who are not as good as Whitaker.

Even knocking him out is going to be a tall order, becuase Whitaker is quite resistant to punishment. He took quite a beating from Trinidad and survived it to hear the final bell, I think he will against Alexis too.

As for Whitaker-Camacho, Camacho only schools B-grade fighters and folds like a pack of cards against any A-listers, as he proved time and time again in his career. I highly doubt he is schooling Whitaker.

Have you actually seen any of Whitaker's fights? He traded easily on the inside when he chose to. His defense was just as impeccible up close as it was on the outside. He he had success at all ranges, he wasn't a one trick pony.
