Pernell Whittaker Versus Roberto Duran

Duran's speed and defense would surprise Whitaker. As skilled as SweetPea was he doesn't have the advantage in quickness he usually does. He is going to have a fighter in his face who is an elusive target coming forward.

I think Whitaker had the ability to last the distance potentially making it an ugly fight but Duran was relentless. I don't necessarily see Duran stopping Pernell but I think he would knock him down at least once.

SweetPea wouldn't be able to to control the action at long range or inside. He might be better inside.
Regardless this is a long night for SweetPea Whitaker.

 

There is no possible way Pea lost that fight it was a horrendous decision and everyone knows it.
