The casual fan still hasn't heard of GGG and has no damn idea who Lemiuex is. Casual fans know Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, and maybe Cotto. That's honestly it. If you know another active boxer besides those mentioned, Congrats, you're a hardcore fan lol
It did Marquez vs Diaz II type of numbers.....:good its not bad numbers but Little G fans were so confident this PPV was going to topple Floyd/gatti so they can have a Moral victory that GGG somehow Beat Mayweather, it sort of backfired on them.. Now the excuse is that lemieux is an unknown..idk
Also you have to take into consideration most fans don't like doling out money for PPV's in the first place so the fact that there's 3 of them in as many months is enough to make people apprehensive about opening their wallets, especially when there's a mega fight next month on a PPV that will in all likelihood cost them 60 or 70 dollars they may want to save for.
It's hard to take you seriously when you refer to the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBC-Interim MW Champ Gennady Golovkin as "little G".
I agree with that whole heartily. PPV fights were special and each fighter was truly at the top of their games. The hype was real and nine out of ten times the fight lived up to the hype.
Like i said Before the over the top Fans are the ones i refer to as "Little G" fans, then theres the ones that know GGG is good but hasnt fought anyone of worth.. Those are who i refer to as "GGG" fans...
Ward is a coward and a fraud ! He has never wanted to fight Golovkin. As soon as GGG Team starts serious negotiations, Ward will begin to make demands which can't be accepted by the other side. Neither will the SOB fight Kovalev.
And for anyone to compare this to Mayweather's buys. Are you serious? You're comparing Mayweather... to Golovkin? Golovkin isn't even a crossover star yet. Jeez, the hate is real.
