message recieved 10.52 EDST. "Clint wins by 4th round TKO. G-string still troubling me. Should have wore a little lacie number, you know, like Phil does" Response "Umm.. Oh, the one that stick out the back of his pants when he's counting a man out on the canvas"???? "Yep"
clint wins via 4th rd tko. Leon is informed via third party as he is being roughly fisted by Pedro out in the dressing and at 2000 pesos per hour, his priorities are elsewhere
Clint Hosking vs Ernie Gonzalez Hosking as usual was the aggressor in the first as Gonzalez tried to pick his shots. Some good exchanges but Clint won the first handily. Ernie came back in the second as both fighters traded in the centre of the ring. In the third Hosking showed some good movement, switching angles as he relaxed more and landing the better blows. In the fourth Clint caught Gonzalez with a huge right he never saw coming and Ernie went down hard. Somehow he managed to get up and beat the count but Hosking had the scent of blood and had Gonzalez trapped on the ropes before referee Gary 'Springer' Ingraham called it off in the fourth. Clint Hosking TKO4 Eric de Mori vs Chris Johnson Johnson started winging wild hooks which de Mori easily avoided as he established his jab. Eric bloodied Johnsons nose in the third and heading into the final round was leading 30-27 on one judges card and 29-28 on another. Johnson came out swinging in the last and caught de Mori on the ropes who went down, arguably a slip. Chris rushed in and went for the finish and hit Eric again, and ref gary Ingraham ruled the ropes kept him up and scored another kd. Johnson caught de Mori on the ropes and de Moris corner threw in the towel much to Erics disappointment. Chris Johnson TKO4 Kenichi Yamaguchi vs Roberto Lerio Yamaguchi wins the award for ring entrance of the year which involved a decoy coming through the crowd in a blue ninja suit and leaving via a back exit before himself appearing in a West Coast Eagles jumper and fetching mullet wig. Yamaguchi spent the first few rounds like a jack in the box, constantly moving in and out and around and here and there while Lerio kept his poker face on and patiently picked his shots. In the fourth Lerio scored well to the body and in the fifth went a bit further south hitting Yamaguchi low which saw ref Ingraham give him 5 minutes to recover. Yamaguchi took just one before resuming battle. Then an accidental head clash resulted in a cut above Yamaguchis left eye. This was a tight tussle to score, Lerio scored well with power shots while Yamaguchi was the busier fighter. In the sixth Yamaguchi finally landed a telling blow and Lerio went down though there was some argument it was a slip. Blood continued to flow from above Yamaguchis eyebrow and was bothering him but some good work by cutman Lincoln Hudson finally stemmed it before the seventh. Lerio again scored some rattling blows in the eighth, and then in the ninth a dramatic round was had when ref Gary Ingraham deducted two points for low blows by Lerio, making the scorecards an interesting read at the end of the night. Another accidental head clash in the tenth, both fighters showing signs of fatigue but neither giving an inch. At the start of the last stanza with the fight seemingly still up in the air, Yamaguchi looked the busier before yet another head clash busted open Yamaguchi yet again. The doc had a look but with 35 seconds to go let them carry on. Both guys went for the grandstand finish and at the final bell it seemed anybodys fight. After a delay while the cards were tallied, a ud win was announced for Yamaguchi, certainly the low blows and kd didn't help Lerio although I know two of the judges gave the kd round as a 10-9. Lerios camp weren't happy, I didn't score it but felt he had an argument for it but if 3 judges disagree with me and I'm not keeping a tally then I won't argue. Yamaguchi wins the WBO Asia Pacific Super Bantamweight Title. Kenichi Yamaguchi W UD This content is protected The author & Kenichi Yamaguchi, pre fight. Notice the look of terror I've instilled in him. Dave Letizia vs Joel Casey Letizia seemed hesitant from the start while Casey found early success to the body before landing a few shots upstairs. Halfway through the round a push sent Letizia to the canvas and it was quickly apparant that as he got up there was something hugely wrong with his right side. Casey patiently stalked his prey and landed some big shots before rounds end. In the second another big body shot landed when to the crowds amazement the towel came in from Letizias corner. It was later revealed that Letizia had entered the bout with a fractured rib suffered in sparring the week before. Joel Casey TKO2
Some more Yamaguchi happy snaps. This content is protected Once Yamaguchi can make Pizzaweight he's all mine. This content is protected I should've borrowed the wig.
Nice pic Leon, always good to see who we are talking to on the other side of Australia. Did you send a VIP ticket to Kickett, now that would be a nice gesture.
Geez Phil, some of your more risque posts are very sexually masochistic. I pegged you as a guy who's porn stash was some 1980's Penthouse and Mayfair magazines under the bed.
