Ranzany was a top notch, world level competitor as a welterweight. If not for the presence of great welters such as Leonard, Benitiz, Hearns, Duran, and Cuevas, Ranzany would have been a WBA or WBC beltholder. I think Ranzany had too much class, polish, height, reach and boxing ability for Ward. Ranzany wins this one by a wide margin on points.
