yep. for being fast eddie his fights sure do take awhile. the rounds seem to never end in contrary to the marquez-diaz fight where the rounds flew by. but oh well, was going for chambers anyways he's not exciting but he's a good fighter

I really like Eddie, and I wanted him to light the world on fire with this performance. I just felt like it was all laid there for him and he didn't do as much as he could. He really could have shown us a lot more, and really got some hype going for himself.

Chambers frustrates me. Fat Eddie Chambers needs to get in shape and apply his talent.

Just wrote this on another thread but...

Holy **** that was frustrating to watch. I got the impression that had Chambers opened up with anything other than the jab, he could have KOed Peter form the middle rounds on. I wanted to reach through the screen and slap the guy and urge him to throw more!

Yet another heavyweight fight where someone fails to truly impress. :-(

Losing the weight woulld be a good idea, but that wasn't his problem tonight. The kid was quick and sharp, all he had to do was move his hands some moe and he would've impressed the hell out of some people tonight. Sadly all we got was another heavyweight stinker... and people wonder why this entire division gets criticized so much.

I never understood why last weeks fight Klitschko-Gomez was always painted as one of the worst of all time. I found this fight a lot more boring to watch.

I think he is too nice. There is little nasty in Eddie, to me that is part of the problem.

What were you expecting homie? I thought it was a very good ESPN2 level, FNF caliber fight. You had two top 5--yeah, both deserve to be top 5 in this Heavyweight division--fighters slugging it out, on ESPN2, which is about as close to a network broadcast as we boxing fans are likely to see. So. Why complain? What's not to absolutely love about this card?

You had a jabber, Fast Eddie Chambers, a jabber, in there against a one-dimensional puncher, namely Sam Peter, a guy notorious for not being able to hang with a boxer. WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN????

I agree 100%. Every time I watch him fight I get aggravated. He really needs to step on the gas and apply his talent. Jab jab wait 30 sec. Jab jab right hand. Repeat and add make cute faces. He should get in shape and fight at Cruiser or get in shape and actually fight at Heavy.

Chambers is like JCC JR. They are both LAZY and have no killer instinct. Chambers had a human punching bag in front of him ffs.
