elesmere port no chance!!!! atsch peter cully is from huyton liverpool boxed for huyton abc top fighter could have went even further been told by many one of the most natural talents he was on the cabs a few years ago and said he was making a comeback about 4-5 years ago but nothing came of it how he used to get his weight down was unreal as he used to baloon up
Peter was a brilliant fighter, power in both hands and had a great boxing brain, could have gone further than he did but even so beating the likes of baby Jake matlala is no mean feat.. Peter will be remembered in Liverpool as a top level boxer!!
quality fighter was cully, used to live rounf the corner from me, used to run past me all the time while doing his roadwork, yes like someone said last i heard he was on the taxis
I remember Peter Culshaw, there's a blast from the past! The Choirboy! Had some good quality names on his record like Baby Jake Matlala, Ian Napa, etc. Should have been a bigger name than he was. I remember being in HMV once and they actually had a copy of his fight with Louis Veitch for sale on VHS??? (Thought that was an extremely odd commercial release).
cully was a top fighter my old trainer george vaughan trained cully for a few years and said he was the biggest puncher hes seen and to this day he stll says it , a credit to the city peter was
yesssssssss, i remember that VHS i bought it, will still have it somewhere, it also had Paul Wright from liverpool on it. have to find it now,
He still is a credit to the city mate. By all accounts a top bloke, if he is on the cabs I'd imagine he'd enjoy it (shame he didn't make enough to retire on, but that's often the case sadly), always seemed like a people person.
