It's very common that fights get postponed due to cuts and injuries. If Fury runs away from this fiight it's because he saw an excuse to get out of a fight he now realises he has no way of winning. Very sad indeed, especially for us fans.

Posturing on team Fury's part. Haye is his biggest payday available, they're just trying to get some compensation. Fight will happen.

 

not the best news this is it. but what can you do?

if Haye did indeed spar without headgear this close to the fight, then he needs to have his head checked out. that's just plain silly.

what they need to do is, let the cut heal and reschedule. simple. Peter is unhappy at the call off, which is understandable, but he knows that these things happen. he doesn't want to be going round throwing his toys out the pram. just ease off on the training, have a rest, and wait to see when they can get this fight back on the road.

and to all the idiots who think Haye did this on purpose, sort yourselves out. he could have claimed Fury priced himself out by asking for (and getting) 50/50 if he didn't truly want this. but he accepted. so chill out. the fight will happen six weeks later than we thought. it's a *****, but there's nothing anyone can do. we just have to wait a little bit longer.
