    i don't think Peter can take that kind of beating again against Wlad. A body can only take some much. Peter still has a very good chin and become seasoned.

    However, he's fighting around 10 pounds heavier now. His mobility and aggression are noticably diminished. The patience will help against certain fighters and styles but he needs to be very aggressive against Wlad and not languish in the pocket like he seems to do more of today.

    The Vitali-Peter fight is very unpredictable for many reasons. I just hope to see an exciting slugfest.

    As for the injury excuses, they may or may not be true but i just kind ignore all excuses and just base my opinions on what i see in the ring. Peter looked physically damaged against Mccline but redeemed himself against the hard-punching Maskaev. He is a formidable foe and very underrated on here.

    Amazing!. "Peter had a broken hand".... "peter had a rupture eardrum" (never heard that before)

    Peter fans give excuses all the time about the 3 knock downs by McCline, yet they hold on to the "Peter knocked down Wlad 3 times" to prove Peter has a chance against Wlad

    Can you spell - DOUBLE STANDARD!!!!

    If you are not !00% and you take the fight anyways....be man enough to accept the results. Broken hand, bad ear, 9 days...its all bull****.

    McCline exposed serious weaknesses in Peter. Wlad will destroy him in a rematch!

    No double standard here. These are facts reported by boxing writers, not Peter's fans, which is why the source is listed...and actually the same facts have been reported by several media outlets.

    It's very different than say the stories of Vaseline, poisoning, little space men, etc...that are used to justify a poor KLIT outing.

    I salute Peter for taking the fight...he actually cares about his status as a champion. The boxing world, his team, and his fans were all counting on him...and he wasn't going to be kept out of the ring if he had something to say about it.

    So yes, Peter is proven to show up and win injured rather than pull out multiple times, waiting for the stars to come into perfect allignment.

    Somebody already tried to do the bet thing yesterday, then RUSKULL started saying that it's one on one...since when...???

    It's always been multiiple avatars...it's non-negotiable.

    I always have sources, I gave you one, I'd give you more but all you have to do is...Yahoo- sam peter ear drum.

    If you want there is one with him talking about it himself, but he really doesn't understand all of the nuances of the english language.

    Your boy is lined up with Slimy Shelly Finkel, and you got the nerve to bad mouth Iyavalo Gotzev :lol:...

    Seriously, if you've got some knowledge of things that Gotzev has done poorly or maliciously, I'd love to hear about it. I was impressed with his managing two HW that nobody really cared about, and leading them to the championship. James Toney seemed to hate him with a passion though, form past dealings I guess...

    well wasn't Duva suspended for scorecard watching. Don King is well known for his skullduggery :yep

    and all i could find about his injuries in the mccline fight were "claims" by peter or his camp. i don't see any third party verification

    Has Wlad ever had a ruptured eardrum in a fight?... NO

    Does a ruptured eardrum completely screw up one's equilibreum?... YES

    Does equilibreum play a HUGE part in a boxers well-being while fighting?... YES

    Has Peter EVER been knocked down in his entire career other than when having a ruptured eardrum?... NO

    Has Peter showed a granite chin in every fight other than the one when he had the ruptured eardrum?... YES


    Now listen Chef, I respect you my friend and find your posts, other than this one, to be very insightful and fair, but... you are way off here. Sorry, but it's true.

    All I am saying about the Peter claims is...THATS WHAT THEY ARE...CLAIMS. We will never know. Just because its reported in the paper by some writer doesnt make it true.

    The writer is getting his info from team Peter. I guarantee that after all the talk of "Peter going down 3 times to McCline," camp Peter was trying to do some "damage control" Are the claims true?..Who knows! I do give Peter credit for the comeback on McCline
