This is false. You have no idea about the Brewster eye injury.

This was the story after Lyakhovich, not the WLAD rematch.

No, it will be a sad day for boxing though...seeing as how he has already revealed what a fighting champion he is, last time they let him have the belt.

On the contrary, I will to 'fess up if Pete wins convincingly. Watch for the warnings from the ref. and the PETE DQ if he continues his antics. The rabbit punch technique may do him in with Vit.
He's easily beatable and out-pointable by the top 5.

Did the eye have any effect on the outcome with Wlad? 2nd fight?
Or was it fair and square??
Please inform me about the fathom Brew eye-injury that surfaced after his defeat.
    Thank you.

It's the reason he didn't fight after losing his title...I don't need to tell you about it, he was on medical suspension, therefore it's not something that only I came across. This is common knowledge.

He had a detached retina, and had surgery on it prior to the KLIT fight...unfortunately everyone asumed he was better by the time he fought KLIT, which I did not. I refused to make a prediction based on no tune up, making Lamon a big question mark in my eyes.

HBO big wig Ross Greenburg has recently admitted, in a Thomas Hauser column that Brewster wasn't even licensed at the time due to medical suspension in the U.S. But really, everybody around here knew his eye was ****ed before he met WLAD, they were just hoping it was better. Read some of the old posts here before the fight...it's not even mildy debatable, just look at some old boxing news.

WLAD won, no doubt. He shouldn't have been fighting an unlicensed boxer though. As a result, I no longer support Lamon Brewster, we don't need guys in the sport who are going to severly injure themselves before leaving.

    ...by default...???

They are journalists, you can't dismiss the facts they report by saying..."oh, it's not true because this person is a fan."

I blame team Brewster for that. Typical boxing. The boxer is the LAST person the lawyers, promoters ect care about.

Since Peter couldn't KO McCline, Hawkins, Shufford, etc....

I will be shocked if he could KO Vitali regardless of the condition he comes in.

Peter's power, at this point, is pure speculation and grossly overrated.

Ok Suge, so Brew lost because of a questionable eye. What about a rubber match?
    Wlad KO's him, again?

WLAD was very formidable in that fight...but Brew's condition was evident medically (as we later found out), and performance wise to anybody watching.

In a rematch Wlad wins. Brewster should have retired after Sergei whooped him. If you haven't seen that fight I suggest you look for it if it replays on Showtime, it's a full on war...rare for HW boxing.

Brewster is no longer ring worthy. He can still KO Journeymen, but why risk it...??? If someone like Peter hit him in the eye, he might not see out of it again, it's just not worth it.

I personallly like and respect Lamon and since he is a family man, he needs to hang them up.
Wlad could have hurt him big.
    Lamon was a warrior.

As a fan of his, I'd like him to hang it up ASAP...

...oh well, we can be sure this time it's not giong to be a very threatening opponent, his fight is around 2 weeks away. I don't know who his promoter is right now, but they are probably looking for a jobber right now.

Last time he had no tune-up...this time he's letting us see where he's at...
