Jackson's money punch was a famous 1-2, which according to the news papers arrived in a flash. Johnson preferred clinch and in-fight, with his famous punch was a head snapping uppercut.

 

I think that Peter Jackson was quite similar to Larry Holmes in terms of style.

 

Corbett ,who hated Johnson is on record as saying that Jack was the cleverest heavyweight he ever saw.

 

Johnson is on almost every boxing experts top 10 List All time, which he shoulde be based on what we know, Jackson we know much less about and so there is no way anyone can say he would beat any top 10 ATG, just not enough known, he may have had over 200 fights that were never listed or counted according to things written about him, but no one can prove it, he was known to be an excellent boxer, maybe ahead of his time like Corbett. But you have to give it to Johnson based on his defense, speed, good power and toughness.
