The verdict is still out on this guy in my eyes.

Thought his fight vs the french guy last year was an absolute *******.

    was hoping for rematch

  3. I am undecided as well

He is big and strong and world level

But I don't think he will push on much further

    Tricky fight tonight as well

  4. he is OK

Gets a lot of hype but nothing to really justify it yet

It was a great fight,it was a very strange fight too Ive never seen a guy get knocked down that many times and still be able to make a case for himself on the cards.Usually you'd associate a fight with six knockdowns against one fighter as one sided but it was anything but imo.

I've been seeing alot of posts on YouTube and other forums and many people say he is the best in the division, above the likes of Martinez and GGG I'd love to know on what merrit.

    Agreed

  8. Forum talk like this doesnt help him either

He is a mile away from both

What he has got going for him is that he had limited amateur experience so he probaly has lots of room for improvement and he has one punch power

British boys should be looking to him

    Completely disagree with this.
    F. Guerrero has obvious flaws and has questionable punch resistance. I even predicted the Brewer loss, and he got a gift against Ishe Smith.
He will be slaughtered by choco kid.

I think Quillin is about the #5 MW in the World judging on potential.
Talented, strong, but the division is very strong right now.

I'd pick Barker,Lee,Macklin or Murray over Quillin,I see him as being the weakest champion in the division although some of our American counterparts might disagree.

I have to disagree with you I think Guerrero is going to give Quillin a few problems in there,he's got a good skill set and is probably the best he's faced so far.Quillins fitness in the NDam fight was questionable he was looking like he was having some serious problems in there if not for his punch power he probably would have lost.Aparentely he came in overweight for the Guerrero fight too so he may lose his title on the scales.

    Lets see what happens.

I was impressed with his power, but damn, that N' Dam wouldn't stay down. "Kid Chocolate" did not win impressively, and it made enough of a case for me to put money down (VCash) on Fernando Guerrero. If "Kid Choclate's" power doesn't show up, he's looking at a loss. N' Dam was just manhandling him up until the multiple knockdowns.

I like Quillin he isnt the most skilled but he has power and puts his all into his shots
I think only Martinez and GGG beat him at this point
He needs to start fighting better people though

Guerrero is getting a bit overrated in this thread like Robney mentioned he has been shown up before like the Smith fight. Like he said you could see a loss coming with him but I wasn't expecting it when it came. Getting beat in the fashion he did by Brewer speaks volumes and I'm a fan of Grady but if you're going to be challenging for titles you need to be showing a lot more than what Guerrero has shown.

Quillin I think is a very good fighter scraping a close decision against N'Dam (who has been called a hidden gem for years on here) is nothing to sniff at. I'm fully expecting Quillin to put Guerrero away early tonight. Would be surprised if it goes the distance.
