I agree, Peter KO's Golota & then gets KO'd himself by Vitaly.

Why doesn't Vitali fight on the undercard of Peter's next fight before the fight in October?, should be better than to just go straight away.

That would certainly seem the smart thing to do.

But I think this is a smash-and-grab hail mary kinda attempt from Vitali, rather than a serious comeback, so he doesn't want to waste time.

That was a prime, on form, pre retirement Vitali...

He will not be as sharp and may not have such an adge coming back after injury and layoffs.. I think Samuel will be fresh enough to keep him away and shut him out.. Peter will be a better fighter as a champion..

What if Peter loses the interim fight in July?

    Then who will Vitali fight?

It sounds to me as if they are putting all fo their stock in Peter winning, as the Vitali PEter fight is set....... So look for Peter to get the decision regardless of performance, or look for his opponent to be poised, or somethign screwy to ensure a Peter win, cause he's already booked for a big money fight with Vitali...............LOL

Peter already has this fight, won.

    I disagree.

Golota decisions Peter and then Training Camp TKO's Vitali!

Nahhh, if Golota can beat Peter, Golota ~vs~ Vitali would be HUGE!

But, I'm still not convinced, either way, that we will ever see Vitali in the ring again.

So Peter vs Vitali is not set, then.

Vitali vs the Peter Golota winner is what they really mean to say.

Yes, Golota Vitali would be a huge fight, yes. In Europe, that would be immense, especially if Golota can beat Peter in a convincing manner, and hype his comeback up a bit more, first.

If Vitali is in shape he will win with ease
Peter isn't much better than Kirk Johnson

    My thoughts exactly.

Peter is way overrated. His chin is not as great as people make it out to be. His power is good not great, and his boxing skills can's even hold a candle to Johnson's.

Peter will not even see Vitali in October, cause Golota will take him out in July.

Agreed on all points. I'll also add that Vitali has a very solid chin in the event that he does somehow mess up and stand perfectly still long enough for peter to wind up one of his clubbing haymaker shots and land it.
